It is against this background that Diligence Consult over the years has rolled out a strategy that has enabled us to provide both capacity building workshops and on-site hands-on support trainings appropriately tailored to the needs of our clients as outlined below;


Capacity Building Workshops

We design and deliver workshops tailored to the already assessed training needs of the client. In assessing the training needs, we very often assess the whole financial management system of the organisation including its personnel capacity both in terms of numbers and skills. In general, financial management workshops delivered by us covered internal controls, budgeting, recording and reporting and any other related training need identified during at the assessment stage.


We also organise demand driven workshop trainings on a computerised accounting software (Tally Software) for clients’ accounting staff both at the basic and advanced level.

Clients without accounts officers may completely outsource their accountancy services to us and regularly furnish us with records of transactions. In effect, we act as the accountants of the client, eliminating the need for a full-time accounts officer. This reduces payroll cost, avoid the possibility of financial malfeasance and guarantee high quality professional services.

We assist clients without permanent accounting staff to prepare and file their monthly returns of statutory deductions such as SSNIT, PAYE as well as the Registrar General Department’s annual returns.






Preparing Annual Accounts of SMEs for GRA, and representing them at Tax Audits

We also prepare annual accounts for tax assessment by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). For Companies, we audit their accounts to ensure that it meets the requirement of the law and provide clues to minimise taxes legitimately. Sadly, most organisations are ‘slapped’ with unreasonable taxes because they lack professional representation during tax audits.
